Color: D-G = colorless, expensive, only if you have money to burn. H-J = best value. Can go lower in gold metal settings than white metal.
Cut: Better cut ratings let more light into a diamond, making it sparkle more. Very important property, don't skimp here.

This diamond has a girdle described as "Medium, faceted", which plays a role in the size and sparkle of a diamond, as written about in my diamond girdle article. The Ideal cut means the diamond will shine significantly more in comparison to lower quality cut diamonds, maximizing attractiveness.
Usually VS1 clarity diamonds are the best value "safe" clarity grading in terms of purchasing online without a photo - although a lower clarity grading is possible you need to see a high quality photo showing the diamond to assess the inclusions for yourself. The chance in color between any neighbouring colors in the D-E-F range can only be detected in a specialist laboratory environment, with the significance that this F color diamond is indistinguishable when compared with diamonds rated one color either side of it.
