Color: D-G = colorless, expensive, only if you have money to burn. H-J = best value. Can go lower in gold metal settings than white metal.
Cut: Better cut ratings let more light into a diamond, making it sparkle more. Very important property, don't skimp here.

Searching for a 2.02 Carat F Color VS1 Clarity Premium Cut Round Cut Diamond?
This VS1 clarity diamond is a slight improvement over a VS2 clarity diamond, the step up in clarity grading comes from there being smaller or less inclusions, or because the inclusion is positioned such that it is more favourable to the presentation of the diamond (for example if it is hidden from sight).
